ourphilosophy

  • Learning is best accomplished through play . . . sometimes very messy play!

  • Children learn best in an environment where they feel safe and loved.

  • The natural world is full of wonder and begs to be explored.

  • The process of learning skills, such as name writing, letter sounds, and counting, should be a natural extension of the children’s explorations, so that they don’t even realize they’re learning.

  • Childhood is a time for experimenting with different behaviors. We guide children and help them make good choices.

  • We are committed to providing a loving educational environment through developmentally appropriate activities.  Our approach encourages a child to grow in a well-rounded manner with attention to his or her social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual needs.

  • Schools should nurture the whole family . . . not just the child.
